Our 5-axis CNC lathes are excellent for producing tight-tolerance components. Our lathes are well equipped and are able to perform multiple operations, they are ideal for producing high-precision components whether it’s for production runs or prototype samples.
Our CNC lathes can feed bar stock up to 3” round and can chuck as large as 10” round slugs.
Our CNC Swiss lathes have a machining capacity of 20.0 mm round.

Astra Precision Components was established in 1995 and is a family-owned supplier of high precision-machined products. Our products are as diversified as our customers and can be found in the automotive, sport, fittings & heating/air conditioning industries. Today the company employs approximately 30 people and operates from a midsize plant located in Brampton, Ontario.
Astra Precision’s primary operations are carried out using multi-spindle and single-spindle automatic screw machines as well as CNC lathes. Secondary operations are carried out utilizing a wide variety of other equipment and machinery including turret lathes, drill presses, centerless grinding machines, broaching machines, milling machines, tapping machines, etc.
The QMS has been developed and implemented to demonstrate our ability to consistently provide products that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements and to operate our system, including processes for continual improvement, with increased effectiveness and efficiency with the overall aim of enhancing customer satisfaction and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
